Two reviews of a bus from Nairobi to Kisumu, read three ways. A CNN slides a window of a few words and keeps the strongest match; an RNN reads word by word, carrying a memory; an LSTM adds gates so that memory lasts. Bars show how much of the first word each model still remembers. Then shrink the window to one word, read the long review with a plain RNN, or leave the padding unmasked. This lesson needs JavaScript.
