Terms of use
The short version: learn freely, be kind, don't misuse the site, and know that lessons are for learning, not professional advice.
Last updated 25 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Amaete Build (build.amaete.com) is a free learning site. "We" means the people who run it. You can reach us at the contact address on this page (coming before launch).
2. Using the lessons
You can use every lesson for free, for your own learning, in class, or to teach others. You don't need an account. Please link to the lesson rather than copying our pages or scenes wholesale.
The lessons explain ideas in a simplified way. They are not professional, financial, legal or medical advice, and examples (prices, exchange rates, places, people's names) are made up for teaching.
3. Accounts
- You must be 13 or older to make an account. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live (for example 16 in some EU countries), a parent or guardian must agree first.
- Give a real email address, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- You can delete your account at any time. We may close accounts used to break these terms.
4. Certificates
A certificate shows that an account (or a browser) finished every lesson in a track. It is a record of learning on this site, not a qualification, degree or accreditation. Don't put someone else's name on a certificate or alter one.
5. Exam prep
The Exam prep track is independent preparation. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, the Agentic AI Foundation, the Linux Foundation or any exam provider. Practice questions are our own and are not live exam items. The official exam guide always takes precedence, and practice scores are raw counts that cannot predict an exam result. We use no exam badges or logos.
6. Fair use of the site
Don't try to break into the site or other people's accounts, overload it, scrape it in bulk, or use it to send spam or harmful content. Breaking a lesson's machine on purpose is encouraged; breaking the website is not.
7. Who owns what
Our lesson text, scenes and site design belong to Amaete Build. Code adapted from open-source work keeps its original licence (see credits). Code snippets on lesson pages may be copied and used under the licence shown next to them.
8. No guarantees
We work hard to keep lessons correct and the site running, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it, from mistakes in a lesson, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site and, if you have an account, by email. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you live in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
